She had lived in McPherson since 1986 and was a former resident of Mesa, Ariz.

She was born on April 2, 1927 in Nappanee, Ind., to the late Dewayne D. and Martha R. (nee Zook) Culp, and married Wilbur Loucks in December 1941.

She later married Lern E. Prickett on June 25, 1949.

On May 5, 1967 she married Fred Bellomy who passed away on Sept. 23, 1981.

Irene was a retired electronics assembly worker and jewelry crafter.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of McPherson and was a licensed unity teacher.

Survivors include three sons, Phillip E. (Rebecca) Prickett of West Burlington, Iowa, Stephen I. (Beverly) Prickett of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and Marlo A. (Diane) Prickett of Danville, Iowa; three daughters, Grace A. (Don) Bogart of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Rhonda R. (Rod) Martin of McPherson and West Bend and Patricia I. (Jamey) Hart of McPherson; a sister, Ada Bender of Eudora, Kan.; 29 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her death were three brothers, two sisters and one great-grandson.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in McPherson.

Rev. Jennifer Blake officiated, and interment was in McPherson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the First Presbyterian Church, American Heart Association or the American Lung Association, in care of the Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson, Kan. 67460.
