Helen J. Dummann

Helen J. Dummann of Thiensville was born to eternal rest on Dec. 13, 2003 after a brief illness at the age of 82. Her funeral took place at Calvary Lutheran Church, Thiensville, on Dec. 17. She will be laid to rest at Wood National Cemetery alongside her husband Carroll F. Dummann.

Memorials may be given to WELS Lutherans for Life.

A Memorial Service will be held on Dec. 20 at Christ King Church in Wauwatosa for Robert C. Pung Sr., who died on Dec. 5, 2003 at the age of 89. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. the day of service.

Mr. Pung lived a full and active life. He was on a Las Vegas casino trip when he experienced a massive heart attack. He was a World War II veteran, avid bowler, golfer, Packer fan and fisherman.

Survivors include: children Patricia J. Thomas, Barbara E. Richardson, Robert C. Pung Jr., Kathleen C. (Grant) Garriott, Alice (Russ) VanSkike, Bruce (Wendie) Pung, Timothy (Laurie) Pung, Margaret (Gerhard) Ziss, Michael J. Pung, Theresa E. (Jack) Appling, Daniel J. (Laurie) Pung; grandchildren, who fondly referred to him as "grouchy grandpa," Marly (Dave) Salazar, Andy (Cori) Thomas, Michael Norris, Michelle Richardson, Donald Richardson, Lauren Pung, Eric VanSkike, Heather (Matthew) Kracium, Daryll (Heather) Pung, Monica Pung, Tiffany Pung, Travis Pung, Tyler Pung, Jarrett Pung, Gary Ziss, Robert Ziss, Jennifer DeJesus, Jessica DeJesus, Katrina DeJesus, Nicholas Pung, Jake Pung; great-grandchildren Sydney Thomas, Connor Borkenhagen.

Further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Pung and granddaughter Delaney Thomas.
