Tillie Mueller Tillie Mueller, 82, of Fredonia, passed away in the late evening on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003. Tillie was born on June 22, 1921, in St. Michaels, to the late John and Margaret (Schneider) Schladweiler, and on Feb. 16, 1944 she was united in marriage to Norbert Mueller at St. Michael’s Church. The couple moved to the Fredonia area in the 1950s. Her husband passed away in 1988. Tillie was a homemaker who shared much of her knowledge with the children she worked with as a 4-H Leader for 25 years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Parish, St. Rose Chapel in Fredonia, the American Legion Post 410 Auxiliary and enjoyed playing the stumpfiddle, piano and accordion. Survivors include six children, Ronald (Jane) of West Bend, Francis (Sandra) of Adell, John of Cascade, Raymond (Jean) of Silver Creek, Mary Mueller of Cedarburg and Patricia Mueller of Fredonia; eight grandchildren, Lisa, Stacy, Colleen, Amy, Daniel, Shawn, Aaron and Shannon; four great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Margaret Schladweiler of Beechwood; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband and five brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. at Holy Rosary Parish, St. Rose Chapel, Fredonia. Father Dick Fleischmann will officiate, and interment will take place in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday at the church from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
