She was born on Dec. 15, 1911 in West Bend to the late Moritz and Hannah (nee Miller) Weasler and married John F. Flitter on Sept. 14, 1932 at St. Matthew’s Church in Campbellsport.

He passed away on Jan. 11, 1981.

Elizabeth and John settled in West Bend in 1941.

She worked at Weasler Engineering for many years.

Survivors include her late son Michael’s fiancee, Sheila Angel of Racine; a niece; four nephews; and special friends who were Elizabeth’s power of attorneys, Harold and Frieda "Tootie" Backhaus of Kewaskum.

Elizabeth is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death was her son, Michael, on May 18, 2003; a sister; and a brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church, West Bend.

Rev. Michael Petersen will be the presider, and burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew’s Cemetery in Campbellsport.

Visitation at the church only will be on Saturday from noon until 1:15 p.m.
