Linda L. Strupp Linda L. Strupp, nee Elsinger, 92, of Slinger, was born to eternal life on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003 at Cedar Community in West Bend. She was born on July 27, 1911 in Hartford to the late George and Elizabeth (nee Konrad) Elsinger, and married Sylvester Strupp on June 6, 1933 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Lawrence. She was a member of St. Peter’s Church in Slinger, its Christian Mothers and Legion of Mary. Linda loved to sew and had a beautiful flower garden. Survivors include her children, Maurice (Marilyn) and Gilbert (Dianne), both of Slinger, Roger (Joyce) of Jackson, Donna Mae Sharpe of Kewaskum and Joan (Thomas) Reis of West Bend; a daughter-in-law, Dolores Hahn of Slinger; 33 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; five sisters-in-law, Margaret and Arlene, both of California, Antonette of Florida, Sister Justus of Campbellsport and Celie of West Bend; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband, Sylvester; a son, Florian; three sisters, Nora Peil, Irene Ziegelbauer and Flora Elsinger; and a brother, Harry Elsinger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Slinger. Father Rick Stoffel will officiate, and interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Slinger. Visitation at the church only will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials to St. Peter’s Church are appreciated. The Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, is assisting the family.
