Gerald B. "Jerry" Klink

Gerald B. "Jerry" Klink, 72, of Hartford, passed away at home on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003.

He was born on May 5, 1931 in Rubicon to the late Henry and Frances (nee Christ) Klink, and married Patricia Anne Weber on April 21, 1956 at St. Kilian Church.

Jerry was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church, where he served for 22 years as a maintenance supervisor, and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was a welder for many years and worked part time for Caravan Trailers until his retirement.

He served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves for many years.

Jerry was an avid wood craftsman who enjoyed sharing his creations with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife; five children, Karen (Russ) Horst, Mary (Ron) Wiskerchen, Keith, Scott (Mary) and Sherry (Tom) Griesmer, all of Rubicon; 10 grandchildren, Sarah, Stephanie and Andy Horst, Clint and Samantha Wiskerchen, Rebecca and Kayla Klink, and Jessica, Heather and Tiffany Griesmer; a brother, Henry (Marge) Klink of Hartford; two sisters, Margaret (Gene) Nelson of Oconomowoc and Melly (Charles) Algiers of Arizona; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Klink of Hartford and Helen Weber of Hartford; a brother-in-law, Ronald (Rose) Weber of Hartford; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were a brother, Harold, and four sisters, Lorraine (Carl) Stippich, Sister Delores, Frances (Ervin "Chub-by") Frank and Colette (William) Daubner.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 W. State St., Hartford.

Father Michael Petrie will officiate, and interment will be in St. Kilian Cemetery, Hartford.

Visitation at the Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, will be on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m.
