Wayne F. Ohm

Wayne F, Ohm, 68, of West Bend died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003 at his residence.

He was born Oct. 13, 1935 in Milwaukee to the late Walter and Evelyn (nee Matzek) Ohm and married Judith E. Geminden on Feb. 24, 1962 in Milwaukee. Judith preceded him in death on March 30, 1984.

After their marriage they settled in West Bend. He was employed as a printer at Phillip Litho for 31 years, retiring in 1995. He was a polka drummer for many years and enjoyed bowling, polka music, collecting records and books and going to Rubicon baseball games. Wayne was a member of the Wisconsin Polka Boosters, the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame and the Minnesota Polka Hall of Fame.

Survivors include four children, Debra Wilson of Las Vegas, Nev., Christine (Dan) Mueller of West Bend, Cynthia Ellen Lubahn of Nashville, Tenn. and Michael (fiancˇ Maria Krapfl) of Mayville; and four grandchildren, Jamie Pickle, David, Seairrah Ohm and Molly Mueller. He is further survived by a special friend Mae Arnold and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend. Rev. Victor Hackbarth will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until 3:45 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be in Washington County Memorial Park.
