Gertrude P. Rauch
Gertrude P. Rauch, nee Ritger, 80, and Robert D. Rauch, 56, both of West Bend, passed away on Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. Gertrude was born on Aug. 19, 1923 in Allenton to the late Andrew and Ella (nee Roos) Ritger, and was united in marriage to Harry Rauch in Allenton. Together they farmed in the town of Wayne. Her husband passed away in 1975. Robert was born on March 10, 1947 in the town of Wayne to the late Harry and Gertrude (nee Ritger) Rauch. He attended Kewaskum High School and then started farming the family farm in the town of Wayne until 1998. He and his mother moved to West Bend, and at the time of his death he was a driver for Handicare Transportation in West Bend. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing. They are survived by nine cousins, David Roos, Marion Lemke, Helen (James) Charlton, and Rosemary (Raymond) Zimdars, all of West Bend, Roman (Ruth) Sauer of Columbus, Frank (Debra) Sauer of Horicon, Mary Bohlen of Kewaskum, Pauline Thomas of Rubicon, Marge Wilson of Portage and Edward Loichinger of Milwaukee; other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum. The Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
