Marian A. Gandt Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 30 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jackson, for Marian A. Gandt, of Waterloo, Iowa, formerly of Brooksville, Fla., Beaver Dam and Cedarburg, who died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo at the age of 80. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery. She was born June 21, 1922, in Cedarburg, daughter of Fred and Rosalie (Kessin) Gandt. She graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1940. On June 21, 1947, she was united in marriage to Peter J. Schultz in Cedarburg. They were later divorced in 1984. She was employed as an insurarce salesperson for Wisconsin Agriculturalist, retiring in 1972. She is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Bruce Morgart of Waterloo; son and daughter-in-law, Loren and Mary Schultz of Elkhorn; six grandchildren, Sean, Josh, Megan, Katie, Andy and Becky; two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Preston Morgart; sister, Caroline Wittenberg of Clearwater, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Fred and Hilbert "Hip" Gandt. Memorials may be directed to: Patti Morgart, 403 Sunset Road, Wateroo, Iowa, 50701. |
