Nicholas Bischoff

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Nov. 21 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church North for Nicholas Bischoff, who died on Nov. 18, 2002 at the age of 86. Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg assisted the family with arrangements.

Mr. Bischoff was born Aug. 2, 1916 in Rhinelander to the late Frank and Frances (nee Literski) Bischoff. He married Rita (nee Heisler) on May 20, 1950 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Milwaukee.

He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a buyer for Tecumseh Products until 1981. He was an avid golfer, bowler and fisherman.

Survivors include: wife Rita Bischoff; children William Bischoff, Nancy (Frank) Bichler, Lorraine (Richard) Wollner, Betty (Bill) Scully, Nick (Annette) Bischoff; grandchildren Jim and Ron Bichler, Mike, Steve and Dave Wollner, Tracy and Joe Dingman, James, Anna, Brad and Melissa Bischoff; sister Dorothy Arnold.

Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raymond and Henry Bischoff, sister Leona (Harold) Hanchek, brother-in-law Louis Arnold.
