Viola E. Klug
Viola E. Klug, 89, of the town of Scott, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002, at Valley View Medical Center, Plymouth. She was born on Oct. 3, 1913, in the town of Bear Creek to the late Fredric and Helena (Hornburg) Bock. She was employed by a canning factory in Clintonville and later moved to the Fond du Lac area. On Oct. 26, 1940 she was united in marriage to Erhard Klug at Immanuel Lutheran Church, town of Scott. The couple made their home and farmed on the Klug homestead until retiring in 1978. They moved to their present home in 1985. Mrs. Klug was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, town of Scott. Survivors include her loving husband; three daughters, Carol Koepke of Cascade, June (Irvin) Lepp of Random Lake and Jean Prost of Kewaskum; three brothers, Edgar (Erna) Bock of Bear Creek, Ervin (Minnie) Bock of New London and Arnold Bock of Black Creek; a sister, Edna Sutherland of Clintonville; a brother-in-law, Art Heiman of Marion; a sister-in-law, Lucille Bock of DeLand, Fla.; a special niece, Nancy Heiman; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; a step-great-great-grandchild; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were two sons-in-law, Werner Koepke and William Prost; two brothers, Gilbert and Erich Bock; two sisters, Esther Bock and Lillian Heiman; a brother-in-law, Clarence Sutherland; and a sister-in-law, Loretta Bock. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Vicar Kurt Ziemann will officiate, and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of the donor's choice are appreciated. The Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum, is serving the family.
