Funeral services were held Saturday Dec. 21, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton for Jean F. Laessig (nee Kaszolka), who died on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, after a brief illness.

She married John Laessig June 4, 1966 in Milwaukee and moved to Grafton in 2000. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include: husband John; children Joseph Major of Chicago, Betty Jean Bacher of Milwaukee and Jennifer (Charles) Boehm of Grafton; grandchildren Lynn Claussen of Pewaukee, Laura (Dan) Brehm of Big Bend, Sarah, Katherine, John and Andrew Boehm of Grafton; great-grandchildren Ashley and Abby Claussen of Thiensville; brother Jerome Kaszolka of Milwaukee; mother-in-law Alma Laessig of Port Washington.

Further survived by other relatives and many friends.
