Funeral services were held on Dec. 23 at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg for Lavina E. Wirth, who died on Dec. 20, 2002 at the age of 97. Interment was at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg assisted the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Wirth was born Nov. 9, 1905 to Ernst and Sophia (Barelmann) Eberhardt. She married Palmer J. Wirth on March 7, 1942. She worked in the Eberhardt nursery business and later at the Wirth store. Mrs. Wirth was active at Advent Lutheran Church and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.

Survivors include: nephew Roll Eberhardt and nieces Evelyn Rosenthal, Doris Reetz, Audrey Eberhardt and Judith (Dan) Arndt.

Further survived by other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband Palmer, sisters Helen Schubert, Rose Krueger, Edna Krueger, Norma Maronde and Leona Schneider and brothers Ray, Walter and Arnold.
