Florence A. Schickert, 7 7

Florence A. "Flossie" Schickert, nee Oehler, 77, of Slinger passed away at Hartford Care Center on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002.

She was born to Frank (Marie Lowe) Oehler on Jan. 11, 1925 in Milwaukee and married Claude P. Schickert on Jan. 4, 1947 at St. Boniface Church of Milwaukee.

She was employed at American Motors for 30 years and was an avid bowler for 40 years. Schickert was also a member of the Moose Lodge for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lavern Finnegan and Audrey Landry.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Claude Schickert, and was the loving mother of Connie Stengl and Susan Wittenberg. She is also survived by five grandchildren three great-granchildren brother-in-law Elmer Landry of Oak Creek, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be on Monday, Dec. 30 at 8 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with Father Richard J. Stoffel officiating,

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 30 from 5 p.m. until the time of service.

Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery of Allenton on Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 10 a.m.

The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.
