Joseph Yovanovich Joseph Yovanovich, 76, of Port Washington, died on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at his residence. He was born March 11, 1926 in Ashland, to the late Martin and Mary (Jordan) Yovanovich. He served with the U.S. Army from 1952-1953, and married Beverly Rismeyer on May 7, 1955 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. She passed away in 1996. Mr. Yovanovich was a machinist for Simplicity Mfg. for 43 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington, the National Rifle Association, and the Saukville Rifle and Pistol Club. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren and hunting and fishing in Ashland and Tomahawk where he had cottages. Survivors include three children, Joseph Jr. (Teri) Yovanovich of Bear, Del., Jeffery (Janine) Yovanovich of Random Lake and Judy (Scott) Krueger of Saukville; six grandchildren, Katie, Jennie and Joey Yovanovich, Benjamin, Brad and Bryon Krueger; a brother, Martin (Rhea) Yovanovich of Port Washington. Preceding him in death were a sister and a grandson. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Port Washington. Rev. John Klieve will officiate, and burial will be in Union Cemetery, Port Washington. Visitation at the church only will be Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Memorials to St. John's Academy are appreciated.
