He was born Sept. 12, 1916 in the town of Herman to the late Arthur and Emma (nee Vogel) Lisko, and married Viona Billing on June 18, 1938 at Zion Lutheran Church in Theresa.

Harland was a member of Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Hartford and served as vice president and financial secretary of the church and treasurer of Missions.

He farmed part of his life and worked for 30 years at International Stamping Co. in Hartford.

Harland was a member of Senior Friends of Hartford.

He was the loving husband of Viona; dear father of Clyde (Bonnie) Lisko of Sussex; dear grandfather of Craig Lisko of Lannon; dear brother of Lyla (Elmer) Ehmke of Hartford; dear sister-in-law of Selma Budahn of Juneau. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation at Peace Ev. Lutheran Church, Hartford, will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, followed by funeral services.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
