Frances Duggleby, 85, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.

She married Leslie "Iowa" Duggleby on Nov. 26, 1936, in DeMotte, Ind. He passed away in October, 1984.

Frances was a member of Tefft United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, North Judson/Valparaiso Chapters of OES since 1948, having served for two years as Worthy Matron, Jasper County Home Economics Club, and various other community organizations.

Survivors include two sons, Norman (Judy) Duggleby of Kerrville, Texas and Mark (Carol) Duggleby of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Linda (Vern) Smith of West Bend; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Earl Duggleby; and a sister-in-law, Ramona (Waldby) Duggleby.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy and Bertha Guynn, and her only sibling, Howard.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 1:30 p.m. at Kosanke Funeral Home, 105 E. Indiana Ave., Kouts, Ind., with her son-in-law, Rev. Vern Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Weston Cemetery, Rensselaer.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Tefft Methodist Church where Frances and her family worshipped the majority of her life, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1000, Chicago, Ill. 60611.

Frances' children wish to thank all of her friends in the community and at the Valparaiso Nazarene Church who loved their mother and made her time on earth so special.
