Mary Ann Severance A memorial service was held on Dec. 10 at Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend for Mary Ann Severance of West Bend, who died on Dec. 6, 2002, at the age of 67. Father Patrick Wendt officiated at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Phillip Funeral Home. Interment of ashes was at Washington County Memorial Park. Mrs. Severance was born April 26, 1935, daughter of Peter and Marina (nee Esser) Wenninger of Nabob. She married John M. Severance on March 15, 1974 in West Bend. She was employed at Tecumseh Products of Grafton for over 36 years as a machinist, retiring in 1999. She was a past vice president of the AFL-CIO and was a member of the Kettle Moraine Klassic Kar Klub. Survivors include: husband John of West Bend; children Goldie (Gerard) Schuh of Hingham, Janet (Peter) Halfmann of Oostburg, Joanne (Allen) Barth of Kewaskum, Lloyd (Julie) Ebert of Slinger, John (Ruth) Ebert of West Bend; stepchildren Ted Severance of West Bend, Lori (friend Bob Brodzeller) Severance of West Bend, Lynn (Steve) Kissinger of Kewaskum, Rodney (Barbara) Severance of Jackson, Lisa (Jay) Goehring of Trenton; grandchildren Jason, Jessica, Beth Ann, Peter, Lloyd Jr., Kara, Jamie (Sarah), Jennifer, Justin, Sarah, Geoffrey, Anna, Hallie and Amanda; great-grandchildren Nolan and Cheyenne; family friend Dena Greene of West Bend; sisters Helen (Louis) Brodzeller of Horicon, Margaret Wenninger of Milwaukee; brother Peter (Delores) Wenninger of West Bend; sisters-in-law Jenny Wenninger of West Bend, Bernice Wenninger of Mayville; brother-in-law Clifford Eiche of Slinger. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Marie, Sandy and Rita and brothers Jacob and Bruno. Memorials are appreciated.
