She was born Jan. 25, 1910 in Rubicon to the late Jacob and Theresa (nee Schmitt) Sterr and married Lawrence C. Zehren on Sept. 27, 1932 at Holy Hill in the town of Erin. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1990.

After their marriage, they settled on a farm in the town of Kewaskum, which they farmed until moving to West Bend in 1943. She was then employed at Enger Kress for many years.

Survivors include a brother John (Anna) Sterr of Hartford; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Rettler.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Holy Angels Church in West Bend. Rev. John Wutscheck will preside. Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday at the only from 9:30-10:45 a.m.

Masses or memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice are preferred.
