Joshua A. Buncich

Joshua A. Buncich, 18, of the town of Farmington, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital in West Bend from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born on May 30, 1984 in Milwaukee, the beloved son of Jay and Diane (Glembin) Buncich. Joshua was a 2002 graduate of Kewaskum High School and was a student at Moraine Park Technical College and Waukesha Technical College, where he was attending firefighter classes.

Joshua was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum and the Boltonville Fire Department, where he served as a fireman and first responder.

Survivors include his parents, Jay and Diane Buncich; a sister, Aimee Buncich at home; paternal grandparents, Joe and Charlene Buncich of Milwaukee; maternal grandparents, Audrey Glembin of Milwaukee and James (Kathy) Glembin of Lyndon Station; four uncles, First Sgt. Thomas James (Kaeli) Glembin of Corpus Christi, Texas, Christopher (Jocelyn) Glembin of Brookfield, Joseph (Laure) Buncich of Fort Wayne, Ind. and John Buncich of Franksville; an aunt, Carol (Mike) Tomczak of Brookfield; his girlfriend, Krystal Gavin of Kewaskum; 13 cousins; other relatives and friends.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and fellow firefighters.

Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum with Rev. Eric Kirkegaard officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call on Friday at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of services.
