Henry J. Stern
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Freistadt, for Henry J. Stern of Mequon, who died on Dec. 2, 2002 at the age of 90. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from noon until time of service. He was born in Mequon on June 16, 1912 to the late Henry and Ella (nee Schreiber) Stern and married Lillian Schoessow at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Freistadt on May 4, 1940. Survivors include: wife Lillian of Mequon; children Hermie (Sandy) of Mequon, Margaret (Joe) Warmuth of Downey, Calif., Mary (David) Kison of Lena, Hank (Paula) of Germantown, Paul of Mequon, Betty (Jerry) Haas of Jackson, Mark of Germantown, Marty (Kathleen) of Milwaukee, Carol (Dan) Stapleton of Grafton. He is further survived by 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church or charity of your choice are appreciated.
