Irene E. Brandenburg, nee Ramthun, 83, of West Bend, died on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 at Cedar Community.

She was born on June 1, 1919 in Dundee to the late Louis and Ann (Stern) Ramthun.

After her marriage to Alvin H. Brandenburg on July 10, 1937 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Dundee, the couple lived in West Bend.

Her husband passed away on Oct. 28, 2000,

She was a factory worker at Regal Ware in Kewaskum for over 33 years, retiring in 1974.

Irene was a member of Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend, and the Regal Ware 25-Year Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Madeleine (Roland) Haass of West Bend; three grandchildren, Robert (Colette) Troeller of Allenton, Robin (James) Gresenz of San Antonio, Texas and Renea (Douglas) Heinrich of Waukesha; nine great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were a sister and a brother.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend.

Pastor John H. Paustian will officiate, and interment will take place in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.

Visitation at the church only will be Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m.
