David J. Olson, 19, of Slinger, died on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at his residence.

He was born on Sept. 19, 1983, to Dean and Jenny (Lynch) Olson in Hartford where he was raised.

Later he lived at Bethesda Lutheran Home of Watertown, until April of 2002 when he moved to the Slinger area.

At the time of his death he was attending Slinger High School as a junior.

He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend.

Survivors include his parents, Dean and Jenny Olson of West Bend; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jeanette Lynch of Hartford; maternal step-great-grandmother, Doris Lynch of Wautoma; paternal grandmother, Violet Olson of Hartford; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were a brother, Anthony Wayne, and his paternal grandfather, Floyd Olson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home, West Bend.

Rev. Cal F. Seban will officiate, and interment will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
