Piekarz A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg for Lois Piekarz of Cedarburg who died on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001 at the age of 69. Interment was held at the church cemetery. She was born Aug. 2, 1932 in Milwaukee to the late Fred and Bertha (nee Barth) Roeder and married Frank Piekarz in Milwaukee on April 11, 1953. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1992. Survivors include: children Denise (Ronald) Pedderson of Grafton, Patty (William) Van Horn of Florida, Diane (James) Moyer of Muskego and Robert (Lynn) Piekars of Connecticut; grandchildren Stephanie, Joshua, William, Amy, Matthew, Elizabeth, Erin, Michael, Ariella and Sydney; great-grandchild Calist Rae; sister Shirley (Wayne) Krawczyk of Menomonee Falls. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorials to Ruth Hospice Milwaukee appreciated.
