Ciolino
Salvator Ciolino, 87, of West Bend, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001 at his residence. He was born on March 9, 1914 in Milwaukee to the late Anthony and Vicenzina Ciolino. In 1964 he moved to West Bend after barbering in Milwaukee for many years. He continued barbering in West Bend, operating Sal's Barber Shop until retiring in 1979. He married Mary Alexander on Sept. 23, 1988 in West Bend. Salvator was also a member of the Florentine Opera Company for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alexander; a daughter, Suzanne (Blaine) Zagar of West Bend; a granddaughter, Lisa (Doug) Hall of West Bend; a great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Hall; four step-children Robert (Sally) Alexander of Waukesha, Pamela (Ken) Zettelmeier of Waukesha, John (Cindy) Alexander of Carbondale, Ill., and David (Dagmar) Alexander of Carbondale, Ill.; five step-grandchildren, Christopher Zettelmeier, Kenneth Zettelmeier, Paige Alexander, Robert Alexander and Lindsey Alexander; four step-great grandchildren, Gage Zettelmeier, Turner Zettelmeier, Alexis Zettelmeier and Brooke Alexander; and other friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Ciolino, and three sisters, Frances DiBlasi, Regina Pagac and Sara Gorke. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend. Mother Martha Berger of St. James Episcopal Church, West Bend will officiate and burial will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials to the Visiting Nurses Association of Wisconsin Hospice or the American Cancer Society are appreciated. |
