William A. "Bill" Malwitz A funeral service was held Dec. 30 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton for William A. "Bill" Malwitz of Thiensville, who died on Dec. 25, 2001 at the age of 91. Pastor John Suelflow officiated at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg. Interment was at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Mr. Malwitz was born Dec. 19, 1910 in Rockford, Ill., son of Adolph and Florence (nee Burkhart) Malwitz. He married Emily (nee Roessler) Krueger on June 16, 1984 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was employed as a painter at Cleaver Brooks/Aqua Chem in Milwaukee before he retired in 1976. Survivors include: wife Emily Malwitz; sons Paul (Arlene) of Oconomowoc; Rudolf (Barbara) of Tewksbury, Mass., Walter (Carol) of Milwaukee, Richard (Coralee) of Cedarburg, Kurt (Helene) of Waubeka, Dennis (Dawn) Krueger of Milwaukee; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother Charles (Virginia) Malwitz of Englewood, Tenn.; nephew Jim Malwitz of Florida; nieces Carol (Walter) Krueger of Milwaukee and Barbara Erbes of Mass. Further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Lucille (nee Cue) In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton are appreciated.
