Diane R. Becker, nee Glander, 65, of Allenton, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 25, 1936, in West Bend, to the late Frederick and Agnes (Survis) Glander, and married Robert J. Becker on Nov. 17, 1956 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend.

After marriage the couple lived in the Allenton area.

She retired from Kohl's Department Store of West Bend in May, 2000 after 20 years of service.

Survivors include her husband; her stepfather, Elmer Barkow of West Bend; six children, Gail (Jeff) Sonnenberg of Frederick Md., Jeffrey D. Becker of Hartford, Jane (Jeff) Bernett of Sparta, Susan (Bruce) Leiterman of Joliet, Ill., Mary Jo (Jon) Sison and Jonathan Becker, both of West Bend; eight grandchildren, Megan, Jamie and Ryan Sonnenberg, Kristina Dippel, Wade (Kacy) Bernett, Todd (Pennie) Bernett, Brent and Eric Leiterman; three great-grandchildren, Haydn and Hadly Bernett and Chase Bernett; a sister, Karen (Donald) Schultz of West Bend; two brothers, Frederick "Fritz"Glander of Round Lake Beach, Ill. and Roger (Cindy Pearson) Glander of Lakeville, Minn.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church of Allenton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Dec. 28, at 7 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church.

Father Richard Breitbach will officiate, and interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Allenton, at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Visitation at the church only will be on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society of Washington County or The American Heart Association.

The Phillip Funeral Home, West Bend, is assisting the family.
