Meta I. Spielmann, nee Moersfelder, 90, of West Bend, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital.

She was born June 5, 1911, in Avon, S.D., to the late William and Alma (nee Lemke) Moersfelder and married Leslie Spielmann.

He predeceased along with a brother, Armand (Eunice); a sister, Florence (Willard) Wille; and a brother-in-law, Harold Muench.

Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Muench of West Bend and Carol (Andrew) Messner of Baraboo; a brother, Gerald (Barbara) of Mission Viejo, Calif.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday,Jan. 5, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Cedar Bay Assisted Living Facility.

Rev. Verlin Wandrey of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church will officiate, and burial of the cremated remains will take place in Valhalla Memorial Gardens, Milwaukee.

Those who wish, may give memorials to the Cedar Campus Foundation.

The Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.
