Mrs. Baar was born Feb. 11, 1909 in St. Louis, Mo., to Joseph and Mary Bernasek. She graduated from Walter Reed Hospital Army School of Nursing in Washington, D.C., where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse.

On Aug. 31, 1935 she married Paul W. Baar, a former Kohler Co. Supervisor. She served her country in the U.S. Army Medical Nurse Corps where she received the rank of Second Lt.

She was a nurse at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center and at the Kohler Co. Medical Dept.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sue Ann and Sy Walczak of Grafton.

In addition to her husband, who died on Jan. 16, 1994, Frances was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Peter, and three sisters.
