She was born Jan. 19, 1908, in Beloit, and was a long-time resident of Washington County.

She was a graduate of Kewaskum High School and the Milwaukee Lutheran School of Nursing.

Gladys was an active member of many charitable and social organizations and endowed the M.W. Rosenheimer Family Fund of the West Bend Community Foundation.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean (John) Schumann and Suzanne (Kenneth) Priegel, their children, Jeffrey (Beverly) Kenkel, Burns and Wendy Nelthorpe, Rocky Schumann and Jennifer (Michael) Zajicek; stepchildren, Jill (Tom) Smith, Robin (Jayne) Reis, Julia Reis, Melody Reis and Heidi (Dennis) Kepchar, their children and grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husbands, Maurice Rosenheimer and John Reis; a sister, Edith Landman; a son-in-law, Burns R. Nelthorpe; and a stepson, Jay Reis.

Services will be private.

Memorials may be given to the Benevolent Corporation Cedar Campuses or to the The Threshold Inc. of West Bend.
