Clarence A. Faber, 87, of West Bend, formerly of the town of Jackson, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at Hartford Memorial Hospital. He was born June 13, 1914, in the town of Jackson, to the late William and Susan (Eggert) Faber, and married Bernice M. Graff on Dec. 11, 1937, at Frieden's Parsonage, town of Polk. After their marriage the couple owned and operated the family homestead until 1976. Clarence was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Jackson. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Darlene (Harry) Brown of Grafton, Karen Krueger of Milwaukee and Diane Faber of West Bend; a special friend, Nila Moe of Eau Claire; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were a son, Kenneth; a brother, Milton; and a sister, Marie. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 20, at 6 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home, West Bend. Rev. Howard A. Kusler will officiate, and interment will be in Frieden's Cemetery, town of Jackson, at 10 a.m. on Friday. Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials are appreciated.
