Hermann Funeral services were held Wednesday at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield for Joseph Hermann, who died on Dec. 7, 2001 at the age of 61. Father James Strupp officiated at the ceremony. Interment took place at Wisconsin Memorial Park. The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend assisted the family with arrangements. Mr. Hermann was born on Oct. 21, 1940 in Apatin, Yugoslavia. He married Anita Hernandes-Benavides. Mr. Hermann served in the U.S. Army during the pre-Vietnam Era and worked as a kitchen aide for Ferrante’s Restaurant. Survivors include: wife Anita of Grafton; mother-in-law Sefernia Hernandez of Grafton; family members Lucio, Sheila, John, Jean, Debra, Samuel, Betty, Leander, Hope, Pat, Raul, Jacqueline, Anita, Joseph, Santos, Holly, Bridgette and Kathy. He is further survived by 34 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
