M. Willie Mass of Christian was held Friday, Dec. 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Port Washington for Florence M. Willie (nee Schmitz) who died on Dec. 5, 2001 at the age of 83. Father Allan J. Sommer officiated at the ceremony. Interment was at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Newburg. Mueller Funeral Home of Cedarburg is assisting the family. Mrs. Willie was born Sept. 2, 1918 in Grafton, the daughter of the late Henry and Yuba (nee Harnack) Schmitz. She married Elmer Wille in Port Washington on May 6, 1939. Survivors include: children Glenn (Kathleen) of Cedarburg and Carol Frymark of Menomonee Falls; daughter-in-law Minnie Willie of Port Washington; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Further survived by 2 sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, sons Wayne and Dennis, son-in-law Robert Frymark, sister Harriet Heiser and brothers Roland and Raymond Schmitz. |
