Kenneth A. "Soaky" Brace

Kenneth A. "Soaky" Brace, 50, of West Bend, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital, Wauwatosa.

He was born June 1, 1951, in Milwaukee, to Robert and Delores (Carstens) Brace Sr., was raised in West Bend and graduated from West Bend High School in 1969.

He later served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era.

After the service he was employed at ACE Auto Trim of West Bend for over 30 years.

He was a member of the Harley Owners Group of Washington County and was a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church, West Bend.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Delores Brace Sr. of West Bend; three brothers, John (Jean) of Big Cedar Lake, Robert Jr. (Linda) of West Bend and Neil of Milwaukee; two nieces and three nephews, Karri (Chris) Tait of Waukesha, Ryan (Katie) Brace of Wauwatosa, Matt Brace of Big Cedar Lake and Peggy Brace and Eric Brace, both of West Bend; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were two nephews, Adam and Aaron Brace.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home, West Bend.

Rev. David Schoob will officiate, and interment will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.
