Anthony J. "Tony" Jaye

A funeral service was held at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church on Saturday for Anthony J. "Tony" Jaye, 82, who died on Nov. 19, 2000. Interment was held at the church cemetery. Schramka-Gunther Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Mr. Jaye was born in Crystal Falls, Mich. on June 9, 1918. He moved to Milwaukee in the early 1940s where he met Marie Soyka at his job with the Milwaukee Railroad. They were married in 1942.

He was a first lieutenant and an instructor at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. in the Army Engineering Corp. After his discharge the couple moved to Cudahy, and adopted two children, Susan and Timothy. They moved to Cedarburg in 1960 and continued to raise their family.

Survivors include: wife Marie; daughter Susan (James) Reynolds of Jackson; son Timothy of Texas; grandchildren James (Sandy) of Milwaukee, Jeff of New York; brother Frank (Virjen) Archek of Mukwonago; sister Ann Karwoski.

Further survived by other relatives and special friends.
