Ohmann Walter F. Ohmann, 86, of West Bend, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center. He was born Aug. 1, 1914, in West Bend to the late William and Ida (nee Unger) Ohmann, and married Ethyl Eggert in Kewaskum on May 28, 1938. He worked at The West Bend Co. as a tool and die maker for 45 years, retiring in 1978. Wally was a life-long member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, The West Bend Co. 25-Year Club, a 33-year member of the West Bend Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad, Washington County Senior Citizens and former member of the Wisconsin Campers Association Kettle Kampers and Kettle Trailblazers Snowmobile Club. He also enjoyed his family and his longtime hobby of woodworking. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Jean (Willard) Goeden of St. Michaels, Sandra (Daniel) Berres and Kay (Fred) Bandle, both of West Bend; nine grandchildren, Wendi (Randy) Dreher, David (Sue) Goeden, Donald (Kelly) Goeden, Candi (Eric) Block, Nancy (Chad) Czuppa, Jenni (Nolan) Ciriacks, Cyndie (Keith) Borzick, Nick Berres and Jessica (fiance Ben Jacobson) Bobholz; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Lemcke of Tomahawk; a brother-in-law, Harold (Esther) Eggert of Kewaskum; other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were a grandson, Justin Bobholz, and two sisters, Emily Kasten and Frieda Zimdars. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. Daniel Kelm will officiate and burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend. Visitation at the church only will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church or the Cedar Lake Health Care Center are appreciated by the family. The Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.
