Kreuser Esther E. Kreuser, nee Riesmeyer, 77, of West Bend, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1923, in Slinger, to the late Albert and Rose (nee Hahn) Riesmeyer, and attended Slinger High School. After her marriage to Hubert J. Kreuser on Nov. 17, 1945, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Slinger, the couple lived in Slinger, moving to West Bend in 1973. She enjoyed her family, embroidery and needlepoint. Survivors include her husband; four children, Gerald (Linda) of Slinger, Dennis (Dottie) of Oakland, Calif., Robert of Slinger and Mary (Jim) Schlitt of West Bend; five grandchildren, Brian, Erik, Christina, Kathryn and Allison; a great-granddaughter, Kathryn; a sister, Florence (Ottie) Kaehny of West Allis; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death was a brother, Clarence "Sonny." She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church of West Bend. Closing of the casket prayers will be Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 7:30 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 8 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Fr. John J. Wutscheck will officiate, and interment will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend. Visitation at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials to Alzheimer's Research of Wisconsin are appreciated.
