Janz, 70
Carroll H. Janz, 70, of Cedarburg, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000. Janz graduated from M.S.O.E and later worked for the Joesph P. Jansen Co. for over 26 years. Janz was a retired member of the Plasterer & Cement Mason Union #599. Janz was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army in Japan during the Korean War. He was one of the original vendors of the West Bend Farmers Market. Janz was the beloved husband of Eleanora (nee Nicolaus), and the loving father of Nathan (Jill), Mark (Carolyn), Ellen Lilburn, Joel (Joan), John (Jean) and Paula (Kevin) Barta. He was the dear grandfather of Allison, Adam and Zachary Janz; Amanda (Chad) Martin; Laura, Jessica and Stephanie Janz; Charlene Lilburn, Devan and Blake Janz; Alexia and Izabel Janz; and Daniel Barta. He was the dear great-grandfather of Cody Martin, dear brother of Clarence (Dorothy) Janz, Clara (Robert) Quass and Shirley (Sylvester) Peters. Janz is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Tanner Janz; parents, Jacob and Irma (nee Groth) Janz; one brother, Alvin Janz, and two sisters, Hazel Schaefer and Lucille Gatzke. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan.2 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Kohlsville, and interment will be at the church cemetery. He will be in state at the church on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church are appreciated. He will be greatly missed by all.
