F. Oemichen A funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg for Marlyn F. Oemichen, 84, of Cedarburg, who died Dec. 24, 2000 at St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee. The family will receive friends following the service. Inurnment will be at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg. Arrangements are being handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg. He was born Dec. 15, 1916 in Turtle Lake, Wis., to the late William and Ida (nee Mohs) Oemichen. Mr. Oemichen married Jane Montaba in Cedarburg on Sept. 6, 1941. A member of Advent Lutheran Church, Mr. Oemichen was a supervisor in the crankshaft division of Mercury Marine. Survivors include his wife Jane Oemichen of Cedarburg; children Jane Stahmer of Cedarburg and Peter (Sandra) Oemichen of Oregon, Wis.; brother William (Lucy Lee) Oemichen of Vadnais Heights, Minn.; sister Vivian Humbert of Oxnard, Calif.; grandchildren John A. and Christopher Stahmer of Cedarburg and Ann and Jeff Oemichen of Oxnard, Calif.; other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church would be appreciated.
