Born Feb. 8, 1922, he was the son of Otto and Lillie (nee Eickstedt) Damerow.

Mr. Damerow served during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was employed as an electrician at General Foods Corp. for 25 years before retiring in 1984.

Mr. Damerow married Doris E. Hulsebos on June 17, 1945 in Bellevue, Mich.

Survivors include his wife Doris Damerow; sons Edwin C., John C. and Dale M. Damerow, all of Battle Creek, Mich., and Brian K. Damerow of Bellevue, Mich.; daughter Luann J. Wickham of Battle Creek, Mich.; sister Lillian Dobberpuhl of Cedarburg; eight grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, a great-grandchild, a stepgreat-grandchild, other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were a daughter, Karen, a brother, Clarence Damerow, sisters Edna Mueller, Mabel Musbach, Alice Lange and Ester Damerow.
