He was born Oct. 10, 1917, in Groverton, Ind., to the late William and Stella (Boyer) Palmer, and was raised in Wheeler, Ind.

He was a dairy farmer in Indiana until 1962 when he moved to Wisconsin and continued to farm.

Survivors include special friends, Charles J. Gernenz of West Bend, Charlotte Kelly of Indiana, Phyllis Bales of Indiana, Daniel Hafeman and his two sons, Jonathan and Dustin; other relatives and friends.

Private funeral services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend,with cremation at Parkview Cremations of Fond du Lac.
