Norman O. Ehlke

Norman O. Ehlke, 95, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at Virginia Highlands in Germantown.

He was born Sept. 20, 1905, in Milwaukee, to the late Samuel and Anna (nee Nienow) Ehlke, and married Florence Kannenberg on June 20, 1935, at David's Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Kirchhayn.

Norman farmed in the town of Jackson, and was a member of David's Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Kirchhayn.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sharon (Paul) Weis of Crystal Lake, Ill; grandchildren, Jeanne (Paul) Swanson of Mundelein, Ill., Joanne (Mick) Urbanski of Round Lake Beach, Ill., Catherine Weis of Crystal Lake, Joseph Weis of Wheatridge, Colo. and Caroline (Dean) Gantz of Island Lake, Ill; two brothers, Wilmer (Norma) Ehlke of West Bend and Junier (Beata) Ehlke of Jackson; three sisters, Erna Gilbert of Jackson, Leona Hilgendorf of Menomonee Falls and Hildegard (Walter) Eickstedt of Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Myrtle Ehlke and Lorraine Ehlke, both of Jackson; five great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were two children, Virgil and Donna Mae, and three brothers, Clarence, Alfred and Herbert.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 22, at 3 p.m. at David's Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Kirchhayn, with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation at the church only will be Friday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services.
