Gaedtke
Lucille S. Gaedtke, nee Otten, formerly Daniels, of Marshfield, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at the Marshfield Center, at the age of 80. She was born June 1, 1920, in Barton, to the late Anthony H. and Celia M. (nee Henry) Otten, and married George Daniels in 1941. She later married Roy Gaedtke in 1960 in Tucson, Ariz.; he passed away in 1985. Lucille was self employed and later was employed at Badger Lab in Jackson until her retirement. Survivors include three children, Richard (Shari) Daniels of Marshfield, George (Kathleen) Daniels of Fredonia and Karie "Darlene" (Paul) Stevens of Gaithersburg, Md.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose (Charles) Hunt of Suwanee, Ga.; four brothers, Eugene (Suzie) Otten of West Bend, Hugh Otten of Racine, Leo "Whitey" (Betty) Otten of Campbellsport and Sylvester (Janet) Otten of Milwaukee; other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her first husband and a sister, Mary King. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Church, West Bend. Fr. Patrick Wendt will be the presider, and burial will follow in St. Mary's (old) Cemetery. Visitation at the church only will be Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. The Schmidt Funeral Home is serving the family.
