Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Portage, with Father Donn Heiar officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Homes, Portage.

Survivors include his parents; paternal grandfather Wally O. Shaver of Fond du Lac; paternal great-grandmother Marguerite Streeter of Fond du Lac; maternal grandparents Robert and Marcia Huber of Cedarburg; aunts and uncles Ken and Rosemary Persons of Rochester, Minn., John and Ann Wirth of Mequon, Glenn and Kristine Huber of Grafton and Brian Shaver of Fond du Lac.

He was preceded in death by grandmother Janet Shaver; great-grandparents Ernest and Ann Huber and Theophil and Lucille Wienczewski.
