Mrs. Jaye was born March 15, 1914 in Milwaukee.

She graduated from Holy Angels Academy and worked at The Milwaukee Railroad. She married Tony Jaye in 1942 and helped him start an advertising business in the 1950s.

They moved to Cedarburg in 1959. She held the position of administrative secretary at Westlawn Elementary School until her retirement at age 70. She was awarded the School Bell Award.

Survivors include: daughter Susan (James) Reynolds of Jackson; son Timothy Jaye of Texas; grandchildren James (Sandy) of Madison and Jeff of Syracuse, N.Y.; sister Dorothy (Thomas) Benna of Ironwood, Mich.

Schramka-Densow Funeral Home, Thiensville, assisted the family with arrangements.
