Kurth Irene Kurth, nee Sachse, 90, of Mapledale Manor in Kewaskum, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at her residence. She was born Sept. 29, 1919, in Mequon, to the late Henry and Louise (nee Schoessow) Sachse, and married Wilbert Kurth on Jan. 25, 1936, in Cedarburg. Her husband passed away on Nov. 8, 1990. She was a member of David's Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Jackson and the David's Star Ladies Aid. Survivors include five children, LaNore (Herbert) Klumb of New London, Phyllis Ermer of Kewaskum, Orville (Betty) Kurth of Waukesha, Roger (Sharon) Kurth of East Troy and Karen (Paul) Jacobs of Tomah; 11 grandchildren, Greg Klumb, Sara (Keith) Moore, Kim (Todd) Fink, Tim Kurth, Jeremy Kurth, Jessica Kurth, Joelle Kurth, Troy Jacobs, Ryan Jacobs, Trevor Jacobs and Stacey Jacobs; a great-grandson, Kyle Fink; a sister, Lydia Volk of Maitland, Fla.; other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were a son, Marvin Kurth; a son-in-law, Bernie Ermer; sisters; brothers; sisters-in-law; and brothers-in-law. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. at David's Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Jackson. Rev. Martin Janke and Rev. Michael Woldt officiated and burial was in David's Star Cemetery. Visitation was at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. Memorials to David's Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Jackson, are appreciated.
