Wendelborn
Louise C. Wendelborn, nee Richter, of West Bend, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center, at the age of 96. She was born Feb. 25, 1904, in West Bend, to the late Charles and Barbara (nee Weinert) Richter. Prior to her marriage to Chester J. Wendelborn on Sept. 8, 1924, in Rockford, Ill., she was employed at the Enger-Kress Co. Her husband passed away on April 10, 1952. Louise was employed in the laundry department at St. Joseph's Community Hospital for more than 20 years. Survivors include five children, Eugene, Audrey Brumm, Carol (Floyd) Potter, all of West Bend, Donald (LaVerne) of Clintonville and Noraleen (Marvin) Gutterman of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were a granddaughter, Margaret Ann Potter; a great-grandson, Anthony James Potter; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Wendelborn; and two sisters, Cecelia Behling and one in infancy. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend. Fr. John Wutscheck will officiate, and burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery. Those who wish, may give memorials to the Holy Angels School Trust Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
